You will work at a summer camp, helping organize activities, supervising campers, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children attending the camp.
Responsibilities
- Camper Supervision:
- Safety First: Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times. This includes monitoring their activities and maintaining a safe environment.
- Guidance: Offer support and guidance to campers, helping them navigate daily camp life and address any issues they may face.
- Activity Planning and Execution:
- Design Activities: Plan and organize various engaging and age-appropriate activities, such as sports, arts and crafts, and nature excursions.
- Lead and Facilitate: Actively participate in and lead activities, ensuring all campers are involved and having fun.
- Behaviour Management:
- Enforce Rules: Implement camp rules and policies to maintain order and ensure a positive experience for everyone.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve conflicts among campers constructively and fairly.
- Communication:
- With Campers: Foster open communication with campers to build trust and address their needs and concerns.
- With Parents: Provide updates and feedback to parents regarding their child’s progress and experiences at camp.
- With Staff: Collaborate with other counsellors and camp directors to coordinate activities and ensure smooth operation.
- Camp Maintenance:
- Setup and Cleanup: Help set up and clean up camp areas and equipment to ensure they are ready for activities.
- Facility Care: Help maintain the cleanliness and functionality of camp facilities.

Our Requirements:
